The Full Story
Lincoln Park Boring (LPB) specializes in the precision machining and heavy machining services of large metal components in small quantities. When LPB approached Energy Design Engineers (EDE) about a new lighting system, they had another manufacturer in mind. After completing their research, LPB elected EDE for their project.
Critical drivers for their project were: A lighting system that would last for 20 years, Improved light levels, Maximized energy efficiency
EDE’s advanced lighting controls and LED solution achieved and exceeded all of LPB’s requirements. LPB has its facility lighting divided into several zones for different processes. Notably, LPB has fixture power set to 80% during occupancy throughout most zones. After minutes without occupancy, the fixtures dim to 10% and then off, further increasing their energy savings.
