As one of North America’s largest custom compounding companies, Airboss of America is located in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
The AirBoss project had three specific goals: reduce operating costs, improve light levels, and get the project done with no out-of-pocket expense to the company. Our team went to work designing the most efficient LED with Networked Lighting Controls possible to replace an assortment of legacy fluorescent lighting.
After allocated State and Utility funding to cover the capital expense for the project, Airboss implemented the solution and met its goals. In addition, the project had a net positive cash flow of $1,500.00 each month for the life of the 5-year lease. With the expected life of the lighting system well over 25 years, Airboss will own the lighting system after the 5-Year term at which point over $6,000.00 in energy savings goes straight to the bottom line.
