For the past 15 years, Energy Design Engineers has been the Midwest’s largest supplier of network lighting controls (NLC). Today, companies are struggling to find more energy savings (fixed cost reductions) and NLC is an area they still need to include. This is largely because they don’t know it exists. Our NLC systems consistently deliver an additional 30-40% energy savings over the LED-only solution, and because of how we leverage utility rebates, we can often get 20 – 30% of the NLC upgrade paid for by the utility. The benefits of NLC are clear and convincing.
For landlords with large office buildings, HVAC makes up 40 – 60% of the total energy spend, and lighting can make up 20 – 25%. Again, using advanced motors and technology, today use 70% less energy than traditional models. Adopting these two technologies alone could reduce your total energy bills by 30 – 40%.

The interest rates range from 0 – 3.9%, depending on the company. Over 15% of Energy Design Engineers’ clients choose this program.
- U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Loans
This program offers long-term, fixed-rate financing for major fixed assets such as equipment or real estate. It’s beneficial for manufacturers seeking to upgrade equipment or make energy-efficient improvements. Interest rates are typically low, and loans up to $5.5 million are available.
- SBA 7(a) Loans: Another option for general working capital, equipment purchases, or facility expansions with competitive interest rates.
